Free time
At school, we're doing a project on how teenagers spend their free time. We have to collect
information from at least three different countries. Can you help me?
After school, the first thing we do is go for a coffee. We talk about everything - school and our
homework, the latest music and films, and, of course, our plans for the weekend.
At the weekend, I often meet my friends at the shopping mall. We haven't got much money, so we
spend most of the time looking in shop windows! In the evenings, I'm doing a lot of babysitting at the
moment. I need to earn some extra money because I'm saving up to buy a new mobile phone.

What free time? I don't finish school until five o'clock. After dinner, I do even more studying. Like lots
of teenagers my age, I have private classes in the evenings. When I get home, I sometimes update my
blog. They're really popular in my country. Over 15 million South Koreans have a blog!

I do voluntary work in my free time. At the moment, l'rn working at an animal shelter - a place
for homeless animals. There are a lot of them in Brazil. I work for three hours every Saturday. On
