Early vedic religion had no temples.

Upanishads say there are four stages to life: bramachari, grihantha,
vanaprastha and sanyasi.
Sankhya, nyaya, yoga and vaisheshika werent influenced by Vedas.
Purva mimamsa and uttara mimamsa were based on teachings of
Upanishads.
The worship of yakshas and nagas constituted most important part of
primitive religious beliefs.
