-Check against delivery-

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Welcome to Audi! Today, you will experience three world premieres with us: First, the Audi S5 Sportback*.
An automobile with sports-car character and very emotive elegance. Second, the Audi Q5*. This is the world’s
bestselling premium SUV. And tomorrow, we will open its new production facility in Mexico! And third, the RS 3*.
Audi Sport is launching it for the first time as a sedan.
The three new models symbolize what our brand stands for: sportiness, efficiency and digital connectivity.
And in addition to all that: We make people’s life easier. You will experience this with our driver assistance
product offers: Using a sophisticated system of sensors and smart technology, our cars anticipate more and
more traffic situations.
Now we are taking the next step: We are using swarm intelligence, for the benefit of our customers.
As of October, the models Audi A4/A5, Q5 and Q7 will be the first to send valuable sensor data in anonymized
form to the digital mapping platform, HERE. This means that important information will potentially be available
to all drivers: traffic density in real time, current speed limits, warnings of danger such as icy roads – registered
by our cars, and soon indications of vacant parking spaces at the side of the road – also recognized by our sensor
and camera technology.
All of this will take place without setting up an additional infrastructure, because we use existing sensors,
cameras and radar scanners in our cars. That’s proof of the capability of a modern automobile: No other mobile
device has – so to speak – as many “eyes.” Using this data material, we will design new services by early 2017
that will generate genuine customer benefits.
We are developing Audi into a digital car company. That means electronics, IT, apps and digital services as core
competencies. In the future, you will be able to evaluate the Audi brand in terms of how digital, how sustainable
and how urban our products are. No matter whether metropolises such as Paris, megacities like Mexico City, or
gigacities with 100 million inhabitants like Jing-Jin-Ji in China: fundamentally, they all face the same challenges.
The city of the future needs smart solutions, so that its infrastructure is better connected, the air becomes
cleaner and the city gains back space again. This is where we are helping with our know-how
and the technologies of our Audi Urban Solutions. Together with the cities, we are working on concepts for the
future. Because we at Audi have a shared vision: working hard every day on the best solutions for individual
mobility ...in short: “Vorsprung durch Technik.”. But now it’s time for products, products, products. Thank you.

-Check against deliveryLadies and Gentlemen, bonjour et bienvenue!
The headlines for this car are: more elegance – more sportiness – more convenience. That’s what they stand for:
the Audi A5 Sportback* and its sporty brother, which you can see here, the Audi S5 Sportback*.
The elegance is obvious. Look at this distinctive shoulder line. Moreover, the second generation is more sporty
than ever: You can see the sharply sloping hood with its power dome, a broader, flatter single-frame radiator
grill. The new Audi A5 Sportback comes with a broad engine lineup. Both models offer more performance:
up to 41 horsepower (30 kilowatts) more and quattro all-wheel-drive is standard equipment. For example, the
Audi S5 Sportback has a new V6 turbo engine with 354 horsepower (260 kilowatts).
And, this generation is more efficient than ever. Both models are up to 85 kilograms lighter. And that’s
combined with up to 22 percent lower fuel consumption. Moreover, the Audi A5 Sportback is best in class in
terms of aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.26. It is more convenient than ever: with even more space for
the passengers and 480 liters of luggage space – the benchmark in its class.
The Audi A5 and the Audi S5 come along with the latest Audi connect services. This means for example: onboard Internet with standard LTE speed, unlimited data roaming for connect services all over Europe, wireless
charging for your smartphone and lots of information and entertainment. And, as a part of convenience, both
models set new standards for safety: Assistance systems ensure more safety, comfort and efficiency, including
Audi adaptive cruise control Stop & Go with traffic-jam assistant up to 65 kilometers per hour, and efficiency
assistant for predictive driving and economy.

And today, that’s not the only new car we would like to introduce to you today. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am
pleased to bring you the successor to our highly successful SUV: the world premiere of the new Audi Q5*. The
first generation was already an impressive story. The world’s most successful premium SUV. Since the launch of
the Audi Q5, we have sold more than 1.6 million units. This car is the champion in the premium SUV segment.
Now, we have made it even better. The Audi Q5 is powerful: sporty performance with maximum efficiency,
thanks to four revised engines with up to 27 horsepower (20 kilowatts) more and significantly lower fuel
consumption. Thanks to an intelligent mix of materials and light weight construction total weight has been
reduced by as much as 90 kilogram. And combined with our new Audi quattro ultra technology, we have
maximum efficiency in the car. Moreover, for the first time, we offer adaptive air suspension in this segment.

The Audi Q5 is digitally connected – and intelligent. It collects and shares information with the Cloud.
Mr. Stadler mentioned our cooperation with the map provider HERE, so that for the first time, drivers warn each
other of danger on a large scale. Up to 30 assistance systems support the driver – on long journeys, in cities and
when parking. The Audi Q5: very sporty, very emotional – and the new benchmark in its segment.
Thank you.
