CAED Leisure Day: Make a Smile and get fit on Style
The CAED Leisure Day, anchored on the theme, On Leisure Day: Make a smile and get fit on style, is a form of recreational activity, in line with the Student
Development Circle, which provides an avenue for CAED Students to engage in sports activities, exclusive for the department itself. It shall enable students to
enhance and showcase their skills in sports. Furthermore, it is also geared at establishing and inculcating value of sportsmanship in them.
At the end of the activity, the students shall be able:
to develop an appreciation of the concepts of fair play, honest competition and good sportsmanship.
to prepare each student to be able to participate fully in their recreational and leisure activities offered outside.
to develop self-esteem and self-confidence through positive sporting experiences.
to use sports as a mean to develop social interaction and so learn about others as well as themselves.
to provide a release for students in order to refresh from academic works.
to engage students in sports that would enable themselves to be physically fit.
Attached are the details of the activities, schedule of event, general rules and guidelines, specific rules and guidelines for each event, budget proposal and other
supporting documents.
I: General Ground Rules and Guidelines
1. Only bona fide CAED students who are currently enrolled in the first semester in the SY 2016-2017 are allowed to join in the events of the aforementioned
activity.
2. The CAED Leisure Day is a point System Based. Non-participation on any particular game will automatically receive zero point.
3. The CAED Leisure Day is a departmental activity. Hence, all CAED Students are mandated to be present and participate in all events under such.
4. Players and participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or any prohibited drugs. If found positive (with evidence), they will be disqualified on an
event and banned from participating in any other.
5. Organizers may join only one event as long as it is not within their responsibility or task for the occasion.
6. Each event has an independent set of rules and guidelines that must be followed by the participants as well.
7. There will be a meeting wherein the Mayors, Vice Mayors and Councilors are required to attend for questions and appeals for the revisions of the rules and
guidelines on September 6, 2016, Tuesday at 7PM-8PM at Room 2016. Any appeals and revisions will no longer be entertained in the following days.
8. Each advisory, as the competing teams, shall come up with their delegation team name which shall represent their common identity as one team/advisory.
9. Each game will have a set of official referee. The decision of the referee is final and irrevocable.
10.The rules and guidelines are irrevocable upon the conformance of the between Mayors and the Organizing team.
