My Analysis
1. Were the learning resources/materials arranged properly according to
their functions and characteristics?
Answer:
As what I have observed, the learning resource are arrange
properly according to their function and characteristics. Since the
library are newly built the tables and chair are not yet available.
2. Do the guidelines and procedures facilitate easy access to the
materials by the teachers? Why? Why not?
Answer:
Since the library is newly built the guidelines and procedures
are not yet facilitated for easy access to the materials by the teachers
but they provide procedures that makes the easy access for most
commonly used materials.

3. What are the strengths of this Learning Resource Center?

Answer:
I think the strength of this learning resource center are the
sufficient number of books they have which are very useful not only for
the teachers but also for the students. Even though, students are not
using it, still they have enough kind of different books such as
encyclopedia which contains different information and they also have
dictionaries and even newspapers and magazines.

4. What are its weaknesses?

Answer:
As what I have observed, the weaknesses of the school is that,
they have the computer facilities in the school but only few teachers
know on how to use this kind of technologies. It is very important that
as a teacher, we all know how to manipulate and use the learning
resource that we have in school.

5. What suggestions can you make?

Answer:
The only thing that I can suggest is, since we are now in 21st
century in which technology play an important part in teaching and
learning process. Technology helps not only teachers but also the
students to make their learning more interesting, the teachers should
also have the knowledge on how to use modern technologies such as
computers. They can must have or attend a seminar for teachers who
are not familiar in using this kind of technology.

My
Reflection:
The materials in the learning resource that caught my attention as I
first entered the school library is the different kids of encyclopedia and lots of
story books which can be found in their respective bookshelves. The reason why
I am so interested is that, though their library is not yet formal but still they have
a lot of interesting books to read for the students. I see this books as useless
informational book because students do not avail the use of this books which are
really intended for them. Students do not have the opportunity to gather and
learned something from those books that stored in their library.
I can say that I can use computer and operate it, but not confidently,
but still I have the knowledge to operate it properly. I can able to perform different
programs in the computer. But still, I need to learn more on computer concept
most especially on how it can be integrated in the teaching and learning process.
My knowledge in using the computer is not enough for me to share it to my
students. I want to learn more on its application to the school concept and the
appropriate way of teaching the students with regards to the use of computers.
