Training Room Design Project

DUE DATE: Friday, October 7th

Objective: students are to create their own high school, work with a set budget and design a floor
plan for their athletic training room.
Project Requirements
High School
Students must create a fictional high school and include the following information
o Name of School
Size of School
Number of students
Number of athletes
o Mascot
o School Colors
Budget
You have $50,000 to complete the project.
Must purchase the size of your training room
Each square foot is $2.00 (Use this scale: 1 inch equals 2 feet)
o How do you calculate square footage?
Deduct the cost of the size of the room from the budget
Use the remaining money to purchase equipment/furniture
Must provide budget sheets to detail purchases
Must show total amount of money spent

Band-Aids/pre-wrap/tape
Emergency Care Equipment - slings, splints, crutches, etc.
Disinfectant Products- aka cleaning supplies
Instruments- tape cutter, bandage scissors
Ice Bags/Wrap
Major Equipment- Ice machine, Whirlpool, 2 taping tables, 1 stim Machine,
Ultrasound, Hot Pack Unit (hydrocollator),
Rehabilitation Equipment- treadmill, bike, rower, set of weights, elastic
