Recap
Children, last week, we have offered our best to the Lord! Right? [Recap handicraft]
Therefore, what is the best? Fish? Chicken? Cow? Ice-cream? Toys? Money? No, not these! What
God loves most is: children who know Jesus! Therefore, when we know Jesus, whatever we offer,
God will like! Regardless of how big or small, how much or little our offering is, God will like! Therefore,
do we know Jesus?
Introduction
So, what do people who know Jesus like to do? [let them guess] Ans: People who know
Jesus will like most to talk to Jesus (i.e. pray). E.g. If you know me, you will definitely talk to
me (vice versa also). Therefore, today we will see: Because older brother, Cain, did not
know God, he did not like to pray. Because younger brother, Abel, knew God, he liked most
to pray to God! [see picture]

1. Older brother, Cain, did not know Jesus, so he did not like to pray to God
1) Because Cain did not know Jesus, he therefore could not see God and did not know
how God was present with him.
2) Therefore, he did not like to pray to God, did not like to offer the best to God and
often stayed far away from God.
3) As a result, he was often angry, he did not love his father, mother, brothers, sisters,
friends and was also always unhappy.
* Reflection: Do we often just like to do our own things, play with our own toys, talk to
our friends, lose our temper, quarrel with others, talk back to our father and mother
but dislike praying to God? If so, we must know that it is because we are being
deceived by the devil, Satan. Satan dislikes us praying to God most.

2. Younger brother, Abel, knew Jesus, so he liked most to pray to God

1) Because Abel knew Jesus, he therefore often wore the garments of skin and often
spent his time together with the sheep. [because the sheep represents Jesus]
2) Therefore, he liked most to pray to God. He was the happiest when he prayed to God.
When he woke up everyday, the first thing he did was to pray to God. Therefore, he
often saw God helping him, liking him. [show from picture]
3) Because he obeyed God in everything, God let him be the most beautiful, most
joyous, most intelligent person! As a result, everyone liked him.
* Reaffirm the above by asking again: Therefore, children,
Who is the most beautiful, most joyous, most intelligent? Ans: Those who like most to
pray.
Who is the one whom everybody (father, mother, teachers) likes the most? Ans:
Those who like most to pray.
3. Therefore, what did Abel pray to God daily for? [Simulate: how and what did Abel pray to
God]
1) Thank God for loving me [loves me through my Father, mother, teacher, friends, and
also let me eat, sleep, move, allowing me to grow day by day and become strong]
2) Ask God to remind me everyday not to forget that Jesus is with me always to help
me, so that I will always rely on Jesus to study, rely on Jesus to speak, rely on Jesus
to eat, rely on Jesus to love my father, mother, older and younger brothers and
sisters, friends, etc.
3) Ask God to give me wisdom every day, to help my father, mother, older and younger
brothers and sisters, friends, so that I can lead them to know Jesus.
* Remind: Therefore, children, do not forget, pray to God first thing in the morning
when you wake up and every night before you sleep!
