NOTIFICATION
The 2nd November, 2015.
No.S.O.47/C.A.XVI/1908/Ss.78 and 79/2015.-In exercise of the
powers conferred by sections 78 and 79 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Central
Act No. XVI of 1908), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the
Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following amendment in the
Government of Punjab, Department of Revenue and Rehabilitation,
(Registration), Notification No.S.0.90/C.A.16/1908/Ss.78 and 79/2012, dated
the 23rd October, 2012, namely:AMENDMENT
In the said notification, under the heading "TABLE OF REGISTRATION
FEES", in Article 1, in the last proviso, above note I, for the sign " . ", the sign
" : " shall be substituted and thereafter, the following proviso shall be added,
namely:"Provided further that no registration fees shall be chargeable in respect
of instruments pertaining to the transfer of immovable property by an
owner during his life time to his/her spouse and to any in blood relation,
namely son, daughter, father, mother, brother, sister, grandson and grand
daughter.".

NOTIFICATION
The 2nd November, 2015.
No.S.0.48/C.A.2/1899/S.9/2015.- In exercise of the powers conferred
by proviso to clause (a) of sub-section (I) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp
Act, 1899 (Central Act No. 2 of 1899), and all other powers enabling him in
this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to remit the stamp duty levied
as Social Security Fund under Schedule 1-B and as Social Infrastructure Cess
under Schedule 1-C of the aforesaid Act, on the instruments pertaining to the
transfer of immovable property by an owner during his life time to his/her
spouse and to any in blood relation, namely son, daughter, father, mother, brother,
sister, grandson and grand daughter.
