REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2016-104
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 FIVE (5) NEW POSITIONS OF REGULATON
ORDINANCE NO. 2015-304 BY DELETING THE NOMENCLATURE OF THE POSITIONS
OF THE AFOREMENTIONED SECTION

Lyndon V. Acap, Ely A. Estante, Jr. and Jose Efrain G. Trenas Ill
WHEREAS, due to the need of the lloilo City Community College of competent teachers, staff and
administrators, the ICCC passed Regulation Ordinance No. 2015-304, 'AN ORDINANCE CREATING FIVE (5)
ADDITIONAL POSITIONS UNDER THE ILOILO CITY COMMUNITY COLLEGE, Office of the City Mayor
which ordinance was approved by the City Council on June 23, 2015.
WHEREAS, Section 2- Five (5) New Positions of Regulation Ordinance No. 2015-304 states that:
'Section 2. Five (5) new positions under the aforementioned office are hereby
created, to wd::
a) One (1) CGADH ff (College Administrator) SG-24
b) One (1) fnstnuctor Ill (Head, Office of Research and Extension Services) SG-14
c) Two (2) fnstnuctor If (Program Head, Academic Programs-BSTrM & BSOA) SG-13
d) One (1) fnstnuctor f (Faculty) SG-12"
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission provided a qualification standard as basis attesting
appointments for certain positions in State Universities and Colleges and Local Colleges and Universities;

WHEREAS, the nomenclature of the said positions created caused confusion as there is a similar item
in the qualification standard as provided for by the Civil Service Commission for "College Administrato~ which
is salary grade 25;

WHEREAS, in order to conlonn to the qualification standard as provided for by the Civil Service
Commission, the nomenclature descriptions enclosed in the parenthesis of the above-mentioned positions
should be deleted.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of lloilo, in session
assembled, that:
Section 1. Section 2 of Regulation Ordinance No. 2015-304 is hereby amended, as follows:
"Section 2. Five (5) new posffions under the aforementioned office are hereby
amended, lo wit::
a) One (1) CGADH II, SG-24
b) One (1) Instructor Ill, SG-14
c) Two (2) Instructor II, SG-13
d) One (1) Instructor I, SG-12
Section 2. - Let copies of this ordinance be furnished to the Office of the City Mayor and all offices
concerned, for their inlonnation and guidance.
Section 3. - This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
