My fellow colleagues,

Faculty members,
Distinguished Guests and
Assalamu'alaikum. It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to the Grand Finale of InterUniversity Corporiddlerz 2016 organized by BUP Business and Communications Club.
I would like to begin by thanking the distinguished judges who have graced us with their
presence today to recognize the achievements of our participants. I do believe that there is not a
set of judges better suited for this occasion today. I would also like to thank our Honorable Vice
Chancellor Major Gen Salahuddin Miaji, rcds, psc, for his paramount support throughout this
As you may know, the foundation of Bangladesh University of Professionals is the standard of
excellence it has set for itself. Here we emphasize on excellence and when it comes to the
business world, in order to survive the ever-changing environment, one needs to learn to
constantly adapt, improve, and be absolutely the best they can be. These days, business
competitions aim to equip talented individuals and future business leaders with the skills and
knowledge required for their professional life.
Likewise, Corporiddlerz has been the flagship event of BUP for the last four years. Until this
year, it has been a way to screen out talents from amongst the BUP students to send them to
national competitions. But for the very first time, under the supervision of a newer and stronger
club, BUP Business and Communications Club, we have launched Corporiddlerz as a nationwide competition.
The competition was designed to bring out the rising business talents and test their knowledge,
innovation, teamwork, and communication skills through several competitive and interactive
phases. We are overwhelmed by the enormous response that we received from all the universities

and the participants in hopes of using this excellent opportunity to showcase their creativity and
professionalism and gain the spotlight. Not only has this event helped the participants, but also
has helped all the members, organizers and volunteers to grow and develop the art of
communication as well as planning, organizing and decision-making.
Even though Corporiddlerz is a fairly new competition, it has managed to receive appreciation
from corporate elites and undergraduate prodigies alike. So far, I believe this competition has
given you a small taste of reality - what it is like to be out there in the business world fraught
with high uncertainties, dynamics, opportunities, and risk. And here we are today to witness the
five finalist teams who have pushed past all obstacles and beat all odds to reach the very final
phase of this competition.
Last but not the least, I would like to extend my heartiest gratitude to the President of BUP
Business and Communications Club for his able leadership and also to the executive and general
members for showing team spirit and efficiency in making this event a grand success. I would
also like to thank the Club moderator of BUPBCC for providing them with the right guidance
and support by collaborating with the authorities.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I would again like to thank you all for your presence and cumulative
efforts in making this event a success. All the very best wishes to the final five teams and for the
other participants; we certainly hope to see you again next year. On this note, I would like to end
my speech.
Thank you and best of luck!
