DutiesandResponsibilities

TheCancerResearchUKandUCLCancerTrialsCentre(CTC)ispartofthe
CancerInstituteatUniversityCollegeLondon,basedonTottenhamCourt
Road.TheCTCcoordinatesalargenumberofmulticentrenationaland
internationalclinicaltrialsincancer,inavarietyoftumoursites.The
postholderwillbepartofateamworkingonphaseI,IIandIIItrialsandwill
havegeneralclericaldutiesandwillassistwithbasicdataentrywithinthe
group.Themainpurposeofthepostistoprovideadditionalclericalsupportfor
ateamcomprisedofaTumourGroupLead,SeniorTrialCoordinator,Trial
CoordinatorsandDataManagers.

Thepostisfundedforoneyearinthefirstinstance.
KeyRequirements

Thepostholderwillhavegoodclerical/administrativeworkexperiencewith
excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskillsandattentiontodetail.
FamiliaritywithMicrosoftOffice(WordandExcel),accuratetypingskills,a
pleasanttelephonemanner,clearmessagetakingskillsandtheabilitytocope
underpressureareessential.Previousexperienceofworkingina
hospital/medical/academicenvironmentwouldbeadvantageous.
