Rene Margritte was a Surrealist Painter Who Lived from 1898 to 1967.
He was Born in Belgium. He
studied Painting at Acadamie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Belgium. He Spent three Years Living and Making Art in Paris, France where he learned from other Surrealist Painters.
When Rene Magritte Moved
back to Belgium, His Paintings did not sell. So, He made Paintings and Sold Them As The Work of Another Famous Artist: Pablo Picasso. But He Still Made and Showed Paintings that He Liked Using His Own Name.
In His Own Paintings,
Rene Magritte would Place Real Things in Unreal Combinations to create Mystery.
He Often Made the Inside
of the Thing in the Foreground of His Paintings into A Whole New Place or Landscape than the Background of His Paintings To Create Contrasting Landscapes.
We Will Be Making CONTRASTING LANDSCAPES, Like Rene Magritte did In Some of His Paintings.
Simple Perspective Overlap: One Object Partly Covers Another Object to
Show that It Is Closer. Things Get Smaller as They Get Further Away. Contrast: When One Thing Is Strikingly Different Than Another Thing Landscape: Natural Scenery Such as Mountains, Valleys, Trees, Rivers, Forests, Etc, Especially In A Wide View Cityscape: Physical Aspects of a City or Urban Area Warm Colors: Colors that Tend to Advance In Space Including Red, Orange, and Yellow. Cool Colors: Colors that Tend to to Recede In Space Including Blue, Green, and Purple.
