VP, OPERATIONS FOR ANCILLARY & SUPPORT SERVICES (2008-2015): Oversaw operations of multiple clinical and support
hospital departments, off-site ambulatory imaging centers, and long-term care and skilled nursing facility. Drove successful
fiscal management, quality control, operational excellence and business development efforts. Managed regulatory
compliance, leadership development, project management, physician contract negotiation and physician relations.
Operating Budget: $40M | Capital Expense Budget: $5M | Employees: 400+

Directed design, and operations for a $300M replacement hospital, which was completed on time and on budget.

Led business development strategy with a multi-disciplinary team, increasing Imaging Business through creation of
accredited breast center that increased visits to 10K annually, delivering major positive revenue impact to hospital.

Increased outpatient ambulatory procedures by 50% through acquisition of outpatient imaging center and
enhanced Interventional Radiology volume by 25% to 5000 annually by working with newly hired IR physicians to
change and enhance the IR program.

Developed profitable Radiation Oncology Services, capturing 15-20 patients daily after 3 years; oversaw space
design, business development planning, and recruitment of University of Chicago.

Increased negative operating margin to positive 9% for Skilled Nursing Facility; decreased readmissions to hospital

ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, ANCILLARY & SUPPORT SERVICES (2001-2008): Directed operations
across several key clinical departments and led employee base of 400+ Associates. Managed all areas of support services
including Materials Management, Facilities, EVS, Nutrition and Security. Maintained accountabilities for budget
management, capital resource allocation, project management, productivity improvements and customer excellence for all
areas.

Executively led the successful operations of the dialysis units at the main hospital and a remote facility. Also led the

implementation of enterprise-wide PACS and voice recognition systems.

Promoted organizational growth through project leadership spanning expansion of off-site Urgent Care, Imaging
and Rehab centers, Hospital Based Ultrasound, Mammography, Day Surgery, Nuclear Medicine and Laboratory.

Played vital role in adding $11M in gross revenue (2008) and 35K procedures annually through development of 3
off-campus imaging centers and the Sherman Health Imaging and Rehabilitation Center.

Created screening imaging program with Radiologist and Cardiologist input, delivering 700+ CT Healthy Heart
Scans in 3 months and mobile screening program with vascular ultrasound procedures.

Expanded Algonquin Urgent Care Facility for patient safety and efficiency. This included new RN station, pt. rooms
and relocating physician practice offices to new locations with minimal disruption to both business operations.

Spearheaded use of molecular testing in Laboratory Department that earned recognition as one of the best
programs within community based hospitals by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).

Facilitated Strengthen the Core objectives for 5-year strategic plan; ensured focus on driving efficiencies
throughout hospital, improving service delivery of ER, and implementation of IT projects.

oversaw contract negotiation and procurement of imaging and capital equipment organization-wide.
