The Contractors shall submit with the Tender a detailed program showing the sequence in which the
work will be executed and the duration of the works.
The Contractors shall also submit with the tender a detailed method statement showing how he
intends to organize and carry out the contract works.

APPENDIX D: ON DEMAND BID BOND

Tenders shall be accompanied by an On Demand Bid Bond from a Bank Devisa to the Credit of
the Employer in the amount of Rp. ( rupiahs). The letter of
Guarantee shall be valid for one (1) calendar months from the date fixed for the delivery of Tenders.
Unsuccessful Tenders may withdraw their Letter of Guarantee after notification from the Employer
that the award has been made.
In the case of the successful Tendered, the letter of Guarantee shall be retained until the Contract
agreement has been signed. If the successful Tender fails to enter into the Contract within thirty
days of having been required to do so in writing then the Guarantee shall be absolutely forfeited to
the Employer.

required to do so on writing, we hereby unconditionally undertake to pay, upon first written request
to the Employer in accordance with the procedure specified in this Bid Bond and by waiving all the
rights granted to us as guarantor under Articles 1831, 1833, 1837 and 1848 the Indonesian Civil

calendar month.

If any question shall arise as to the amount of any loss, damage or expense sustained by the
Employer by reason of any breach, non-observance or non-performance by the Contractor of any of
its obligations under the said Contract the amount thereof shall be determined by experts appointed
by the Employer and whose decision shall be final.
This Surety Bond is valid from , 2002 until the Certification of Practical Completion
by the Supervisor in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract.
