physical changes (i.e. open/closed eyes to detect fatigue) is well suited for real world driving
conditions since it is non-intrusive by using a video camera to detect changes. In addition micro
sleeps that are short period of sleeps lasting 2 to 3 seconds are good indicator of fatigue state.
Thus by continuously monitoring the eyes of the driver one can detect the sleepy state of driver
and timely warning is issued.
AIM OF PROJECT:
To develop the hardware which is very advanced product related to driver safety
on the roads using ARM7 controller and image processing. This product detects
driver drowsiness and gives warning in form of alarm and vibration in less than
one second time as well as decrees the speed of vehicle.

Woking:
In this project eye tracking for the driver drowsiness feature is use
by using the camera and image processing algorithm.
When the eye blink is not there for more than 10 to 30 sec then
serial data send to the controller and will vibrate the seat and
automatically control the speed of the wheels or motor.
When drowsiness is detected then alarm gets activated.
Also we have use the flex sensor for sensing the fingers on the
steering, as value goes above certain threshold then alarm get
activated

ADVANTAGES:
Accident Prevention and Safety Driving
Robust system
Component establishes interface with other drivers very easily.
Life of the driver can be saved by locking the ignition system of the car.
Traffic management can be maintained by reducing accidents and traffic jams can be avoided.
