agreed!to!everything!asked!of!them!by!the!Clinton!State!Department.!The!mutually!
agreed!upon!letter!signed!by!the!Prime!Minister!was!issued!to!the!Whitehouse!on!
August!19th!and!to!everyones!great!relief!the!conflict!in!Libya!was!over,!or!so!

So!grateful!was!General!Clark!that!the!same!day,!August!19th,!he!called!with!
Secretary!Clinton!on!the!line!to!congratulate!Dr.!Paul!for!getting!the!job!done!in!the!
face!of!such!danger.!Notwithstanding,!history!reveals!that!it!was!Secretary!Clinton,!
not!President!Obama,!who!is!on!record!as!saying!he!did!not!want!to!wage!war!on!
Libya!and!that!it!was!a!mistake,!who!made!the!fateful!decision!to!continue!bombing!
Libya,!even!though!escalating!the!conflict!further!was!now!100%!avoidable!and!
completely!unnecessary!after!the!successful!peace!negotiations.!!

Tragically,!yet!predictably!without!boots!on!the!ground!to!direct!the!bombings,!not!
only!did!Gaddafi!die!but!also!thousands!of!innocents,!including!women!and!children!
