How to Write a Topic Sentence

Step 1:
Answer your teachers question using the words in the
question. Turn the question into a statement.
Example:
What was your favourite school event and why?
My Favourite school event was Sports Day.

Step 2: Answer the Why part of the question by listing 3

reasons why.
(1) Many activities
(2) It was fun
(3) Delicious snacks
Step 3:
Add your 3 reasons to your topic sentence.
My Favourite school event was Sports Day because of the
activities, it was fun, and all the delicious snacks.
