Roles & Responsibilities As Quality Control Inspector

Review of the project scope of work, material specifications, and drawings

for any conflict with the requirement of the Quality standards and advise the
Engineering Dept to initiate the corrective actions with the client prior to
commencement of work
Review of inspection and Test plan (QAP) per QC-Procedure, Client
Specification and Approved Drawing.
Maintaining welding inspection/NDT reports and record tracking.
Witness of welding procedure qualification, welder performance qualification
& approval.
Preparation of WPS & PQR.
Preparation of welding inspection summary.
Inspection of joints fit up, alignment and dimensional accuracy as per
drawing requirements.
Co-ordination with client or TPI or Contractor.
Interpretation of Isometric drawings and Weld maps.
Quality control documentation as per Quality inspection Procedure.
To ensure related activities are carried out in accordance with project
specifications.
Preparation of QC Report.
PIPING:

Carry out Third Party Inspection of Piping System and Tanks.

Study of P & ID, Isometric drawing.
Requesting Materials as per Isometric Drawing.
Carry out Raw material Inspection, Stage wise Inspection and Final
Inspection.
Preparation of Pre Fabrication work.
Maintain all Technical Reports and verify it.
Making daily progress reports & submitting to the Management.
Checking daily progress with Charge-hand & analyzing the work to be
complete on time.
Conducting RT & Hydro testing of spool & Loops.

 After completion of testing, flushing of pipe lines to ensure inside

cleanliness.
