spectrum of sources, collecting and analysing large amounts of data is becoming common in the field
of science and research. Big data analysis is challenging the speed and direction of scientific research
by allowing people to further their inquiries using giant data sets. For example, medical research is
moving from broad-based treatment to targeted pharmaceutical testing for a particular segment of the
population.
