Role and Responsibilities: HSE Manager
Establish and ensure implementation of the HSE Management System on the all phases (Engineering,
Procurement, Construction and up to Mechanical Completion of the project.
To establish Project HSE Plan including HSE Policy (based on Corp. QHSE Policy) and continually improve it.
Assist and coordinate with the Project Manager and all personnel assigned to the project in establishing an
overall Project HSE Management Plan based on Companies IMS Management standards and Project
requirements.
Advise on setting up the improvement guidelines for Project HSE Management System to project employees.
Ensure improvements are implemented and results are feedback to employees.
Establish Project HSE audit program & schedule and perform the Project HSE Audit within the project
organization in cooperation with Corporate QHSE Team.
Report the Project HSE Audit Results to Corporate QHSE Team Leader and Project Manager.
Monitor Project HSE System activities such as Engineering HSE and Field HSE activities based on Companies

Project Profile: Saudi Aramco and Total are building a $9.6bn export refinery. The project is being executed by
Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP). The new refinery will treat 400,000
barrels a day of heavy crude oil to produce diesel and jet fuel. It will also produce 700,000t of paraxylene,
140,000t of benzene and 200,000t of propylene per year. Its construction is scheduled for completion in the
second half of 2013.
