Chronic Stress

Description 1
Acute stress is the most experienced one, as it is basically
caused by the daily needs and pressures encountered by each
one of us. The word stress itself indicates a bad view, but in
this case acute stress is actually a stress that bring out
happiness and joy to us . Acute stress give us thrills and chills.
As for example, we break the boundaries from our comfort zone
by joining dangerous sports such as Bungee Jumping. Bunge
Jumping lead us to experience acute stress yet the same time
brings excitement. Nevertheless, attempting a jump from a very
high pinnacle to the ground will bring us so much acute stress
as we wish to to make it end as soon as possible or at a point
that you think you should not attempt the jump in the first place.
When you manage to complete the jump, you will face the
effects of acute stress such as vomiting, headaches or
migranes

,and

other

possible

psychological

symptoms.

Emotional distress such as anger, anxiety and irritability are the

other symptoms that is caused by acute stress. In addition ,
acute stress will also lead to some physical problems such as
stomach upset, dizziness, heart paltipations and shortness of
breath. Those two symtoms mentioned previously will happen
when we experience acute stress at a higher stage.

Description 2
Episodic stress is the stress that is caused when we
experience acute stress too often. This kind of stress basically
experienced by people that is too obsessed with self-perfections
, having a high level of insecurity and having the feeling of
anxious in their attempt to accomplish their vision. Episodic
stress only happens in a blue moon unlike the acute stress.
This stress will ceases to exist from time to time and yet not as
frequent as the acute stress to occur because it only happens
when a person unable to overcome their acute stress from
becoming even worst. Literally , it is dependent to the individual
itself as they have the power to avoid this kind of stress. If they
are able to control acute stress then the tendency of having
episodic stress will be zero. One with certain personalities such
as overly competitive, demanding, aggresive and sometimes
tense and hostile is identified and observed to face this kind of
stress more frequent compared to others. They will also
experience longer periods of intermitted depression, emotional
distress and anxiety disorders. They started to ceaseless
worrying about something simple and tend to turn them into
complicated things. In the end of the day , they ended to do
something unexpected and irrational as they are not able to
calm down themselves

and failed to overcome the stress.

Episodic stress might lead to more serious problem and effects

such as coronary heart diseases or other health problems.

Description 3
Chronic stress is the contrast of Acute stress. It does not bring
joy and thrills, but dangerous and unhealthy. Chronic stress
may cause a self-destruct to a person when they reach a stage
of knowing that there is no other solution to stop the stress or
overcoming the problem other than to commit suicide. This type
of stress is caused by a serious problem such as unhappy
marriage. A marriage failure, for instance, is a problem that
involves emotions and feelings. Therefore it is considered as
something that will brutally kills our life as this kind of problem
seem to be unending and life-threatening in just one shot and of
course will give us chronic stress .

In addition, having a

traumatic experiences, unwanted course or careers, stress of

poverty , relation conflicts and last but not least having a
dysfuntional political problem will also cause chronic stress.
These stressful situations can even lead a person to resort to
violence unintentionally. Besides , some health illness such as
stroke, heart attack, cancer and other psychological problem
like clinical depression and post-traumatic

disorder may

caused by chronic stress. There are several physical sign and

symptoms caused by chronic stress such as dry mouth,
pounding heart, diaphoresis, frequent urination , stomach ache
and others. This also includes mental signs and symptoms like

sudden irritability, tension, imsomnia and frequent feelings of

fatigue.
