now? Tell me about your family. Are you ok with relocation? etc. Some questions dealt
with the intended pressure and this was just to check for our level of calmness and
composure under those situations.
Overall it was a very well managed Campus Drive, and LDRP's Placement Team did a
fine job in co-ordinating and co-operating.
P.S: A common Question - Tell me about yourself in both the interviews.
might ask some questions from that to assure if you are actually interested or not. Then
as the name says the interview was based on languages C, C++, JAVA and Database.
Most of the questions are from database. They also asked about general awareness, I
was asked about "Pokemon go", and asked me to write a code (very simple).
Lastly he asked me one logical question which I couldn't able to give the answer (but
now I know) question was "9 balls with same weight but one of them is slightly heavier
than others and you are provided with a weighing scale and only 2 chances are given
how can you separate the slightly heavier ball from rest of the balls". I am not giving the
answer cause you might come out with a solution. But a hint might be good "just divide
the 9 balls in 3 equal group and think".
Fourth Round - HR Interview(Last one).
Just common questions, kind of friendly interview questions were from personal live
nothing technical.
After 15 minutes. Results out.
And I was selected(smiling).
My suggestion - a bit practice in aptitude having a good knowledge about languages
and about your field (the course you are doing), good communication skill and
confidence And you are in.
Thank you, hope you find this useful.
Tech Mahindra Interview Experience - HYDERABAD 27/07/2016
Exam pattern is as follows:
1) Written round which consists of 75 questions to be answered in 50 minutes.
Written is divided into 7 modules:
1. General English 1.
2. General English 2.
3. Quants.
4. Reasoning.
5. Reasoning paragraph.
6. Verbal Reasoning.
7. Non-verbal Reasoning.
Do not get tense seeing the syllabus above because questions asked were very basic.
You just need to have a decent amount of practice.
Guys, please do not leave any questions as there is no negative marking, the only thing
you need to manage is" TIME ". Yes, you got that right time management, questions are
easy but require to solved in less than 50 seconds so that you will be able to do it in 50
minutes.
The sectional cutoff is there so try to attempt at least 60 percent or 50 percent of
paper , you will clear written test easily. General topics covered from quants were asked
like averages, ages, numbers system, percentages, profit loss compound int and simple
interest, ratio and proportion. And from English and reasoning just some famous topic
you can practice, I don't think i need to list them, you guys might be knowing it. (ALL
GENERAL TOPIC) coding-decoding predicting next image odd man out series, blood
relation, seating arrangement and all that.
I think I have given enough info about 1 round.
AS soon as you finish the paper, you results will be immediately displayed on your
screen , if it's congratulations , well you know what that means or else it will display a
Sorry message.
2) The second round is story writing based on a given image which will be done
immediately after who cleared written on the computer.
You will be given an image on the computer and you supposed to write a story in 15
minutes of time.
Guys beware it's an elimination round, MASS elimination was done in this round. So
take care of your spelling, punctuation marks and practice on keyboard before going.
3) Technical round for those who clear story writing.
Technical is cakewalk guys. If from ECE, just brush up your basics of and C
programming. Yeah also prepare something from your project you did in your pre-final
year.
YOU'RE done that's it.
4) HR ROUND:
Those who clear tech will proceed for HR round.
it's a simple round. Just be confident and focus on your communication skills.
