(CFL) will hold the 2" Negosyo sa Bayan Entrepreneurship Support and Development Training with the theme “Angat Lahat: Focus on Micro, Small, and ‘Medium Enterprises in Local Government Units” on 9-12 November 2016 at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, Davao City. ‘The training aims to train policy and decision-makers from the local government units on entrepreneurship development in the grassroots and engage them to provide appropriate support and coordinative mechanisms to bridge efforts to significantly realize an entrepreneurial community in the LGUs. It also seeks to inspire and enable the LGUs to establish their own entrepreneurial ventures and economic enterprises towards financial independence. In view of the above, all Governors, Vice Governors, Mayors and Vice Mayors are encouraged to allow Chairs and Members of their respective Sanggunian’s Committees on ‘Trade, Industry and Livelihood, and Economic Enterprise Development; Local Economic Investment Promotion Officers, Local Enterprise Development Officers, Local Cooperative Development Officers, and other key LGU officials or employees designated by the LCEs to participate in the training, provided that itis within the Capability Development Agenda of the LGU. Provided further, that any expense of a participant shall not be charged against the 20% Development Fund or from whatever source which may prejudice poverty reduction efforts.
