This Directory is compiled from a previous version (2001) published by the Illinois Department of
Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and updated in 2004. The information was provided by
the Illinois Recycling Association (IRA). Inclusion in this directory does not constitute endorsement by
the author, DCEO or the IRA, nor does it suggest that companies listed are in compliance with
applicable laws. This Directory should not be considered a complete or up-to-date listing of companies
providing Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste management services. Please check with your local
telephone directory, with your local Solid Waste Coordinator, or with your local government for additional
information. This Directory has only been updated through 2004; the author has not verified the
information contained in the directory, some of the information may not be up-to-date.
The directory is divided into seven state regions. The counties associated with each region are listed
next to the region.

Identified C&D materials in this Directory include:

Asphalt I Concrete I Brick
Wood (pallets, timbers, brush, landscape waste, structural wood)
Mixed Materials (recycled materials taken from a job site in a mixed load, separated at a
designated facility, and set to a processor)
Other Materials (carpet, carpet padding, drywall, shingles)
Salvage and Reuse (architectural antiques, windows, doors, structural timbers, hardware)
