GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE - INSTRUMENTATION (X5) POSITION DESCRIPTION:

-Execute routine check ups of instrumentation equipment's according to maintenance schedule plan,
workload, manpower availability and company procedures
-Coordinate the testing , repairing, calibration and trouble shooting of the instrumentation control
systems
-allocate work orders and supervised instrumentation technicians in the execution of activities
ensuring adherence to established standard and guidelines
-Ensure compliance with HSE procedures during maintenance work
- Evaluate the man power requirement for daily preventive, breakdown and shut down maintenance
and prepare the job schedule
-Monitor the work orders status for obstacles and reschedules the task if required
- Endorse work feedback and close out work orders in the maintenance data base
- Liaise with mechanical and electrical sections and establish seamless integration between operation
and maintenance teams
- Prepare and review various maintenance report such as preliminary failure and root cause analysis
report.
-Evaluate and list spare parts requirement for smooth and trouble free operation of the plant
-Bachelor degree in engineering particularly in Electronics,instrumentation and telecom
- Experience 1-3 years preferable in cement industry

The position
The Trainee Design Engineer reports to the Technical Manager and has a lot of contact with the Account
Manager. As a Trainee Design Engineer you will be trained to design power systems for our clients. It is
expected that you will first master the design of solar power systems and subsequently go into generator, solar
water pumping and solar water heating system design.
Requirements
Power Providers is looking for a Trainee Design Engineer with at least the following qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with good grades
- Between 0 and 3 years work experience
- An expressed interest and preferably experience in at least 2 of the following fields
-- Solar power systems
-- Generator installation & maintenance
-- Solar water pumping

-- Solar water heating

- Experience with solar design software an advantage
- Ability to work concentrated and precise
- Excellent computer skills
- Good knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Word
- Good spoken and written English

DESCRIPTION:

1. To ensure uninterrupted availability (>90%) of HEMM and other allied machine to meet targeted
production
2. To maintain availability and cost reduction control over consumption of spares, lubricant oil and fuel
(HSD) in all allied areas
3. To comply,y with all statutory requirement applicable like DGMS/IBM/ Environment? labour
department ISO etc
4. To monitor and exercise control over cost and budget (SAP System)
5. To plan and execute improvement improvement project to achieve departmental objective
6. To train subordinates in order to share higher responsibilities
7. To sustain and ensure safety culture
8. To ensure implementation of system/WCM standard
9. Decision making skills, effective verbal and communication skills
10. To maintain all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant registration,
policies and procedures
11. Performs daily safety and maintenance checks
12. Complies with state vehicle requirement by testing engine, safety and combustion control
standard.
