Solar Panel power calculations:

The voltage output of the solar panel(Peak): 17 v to 18 V

The current I=5.88Amp

Therefore the power is given by

P=VxI
=17 x 5.88
= 99.96 = 100 watt

Lets us assume ten hour light a day:

Therefor the total power delivered by solar panel for a day will be

100 x 10 =1000 watt

or 1 KW

Calculating the battery Size:

Since 1KW of power is delivered in a day
And the nominal voltage of battery is 12 V
The battery capacity is given by

Power/battery voltage
1000/12
=83.333 AH

So a battery of 100 AH can be easily chosen

Determining the Charge controller:

The solar power delivers a current of 5.5 to 6 Amp

So the standard charge controller of 10Amp should be sufficient to handle this
current
