INTRODUCTION TO THE TRAINING ESTBLISHMENT

1.1 INTRODUCTIN
The Maga Engineering (Pte) Ltd is one of the leading and pioneer construction companies
in Sri Lanka. Not only the local construction but also the overseas constructions have been
building up with providing excellent services to the clients. Maga Engineering, both in Sri
Lanka and abroad during their history, completed large numbers of multidisciplinary
projects. It has been massive contributed to the Sri Lankan construction field by
constructing following fields.

1.2 PRESENT PERFORMANCE

Since its establishment in 1984, Maga has been an active participant in the construction
industry in Sri Lanka, making a significant contribution to its development by applying the
knowledge and experience gained through its interaction with the international
construction companies.
Today, Maga has made an indelible imprint as the market leader and a model construction
company of the country. It has provided leadership to the Construction Industry by
achieving exceptional growth, highest quality, timely completion and strict compliance
with safety & environmental requirements. This is evidenced by the company being named
the most respected entity in the building construction sector by the leading business
magazine LMD and the best Sri Lankan Company in the Construction Sector by the
National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka for the year 2007, and receiving the
Superbrands status during the same year.

1.3 STRENGTH
The Maga Engineering (Pte) Ltd becomes a challenge for other local and international
construction companies today, because it owns strong human resources, materials, plants &
equipments to success any project. It is not only a construction company but also it
provides the related services such as ready mixed concrete, pre-cast products, scaffoldings,
asphalt concrete etc.
