In Andhra Pradesh there is around 1.05 Lakh of suger cane was cultivated and around 55 lakhs of suger cane
was imported to other countries during the year financial 2009-10. Andhra Pradesh stood fifth position in India in

position in the world by producing 80 Lakh tones of Jaggery in the financial year 2009-10. In the same year

Market is one of the famous markets in the world and the biggest one among all the Jaggery markets in the
southern states.
