LEARNING CULTURE AT MEGATECH

FEATURED INTERVIEW
Today's most College Student Presidents are primarily defined by their entrepreneurial attitudes
and behavior. Featuring our interview is the Megatech Entrepreneurship Club President, Mohd
Fadhil Syazwan Syah.
Tell us about yourself.
My name is Mohd Fadhil Syazwan Syah, I am 18 years old. I am from Sabah, Malaysia. I am a student at
Megatech, pursing a Diploma programme in Business Administration. I am in my second (2 nd) semester.
What is your role in this student club?
I am the president of the club, Megatech Entrepreneurship Club.
What is Megatech Entrepreneurship Club about?
In this club, we do various activities and all these are with the aim of motivating and building an
entrepreneurial spirit in us. We get to have seminars or visits to different factories or business entities which
we can learn from as young entrepreneurs.
In your opinion, why would this club be a good idea to have been introduced to the students of Megatech?
Getting involved in entrepreneurship at a young age is something that impacts the lives of young people in a way that not many other
activities do: it improves communication skills, decision-making and goal-setting abilities. Therefore, it is a great idea to have
introduced this club in our College.
As the Club President, how would you encouraged fellow students to join?
Through our entrepreneurship club, young people can learn organisational skills, including time management, leadership development
and interpersonal skills, all of which are highly transferable skills sought by employers. I encourage my fellow students to join
Megatech Entrepreneurship Club because its through this Club you will obtain the above mentioned skills.
Any upcoming events in the future that will be organised by Megetech Entrepreneurial Club?
We are organising a visit to one of the chocolate factory here in Malaysia. Details of the date are not fixed yet but it will be in
November. In this month, we had the opportunity to participate in the Karnival UKM Lestari 2016 Event which was a great
opportunity and there were many ideas to learn. Also, the Entrepreneurial Day was officially set, so I would like all of you to take
note of these days (27-28 September every year). All the days activities will be on Campus.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
These activities facilitate in the development of various domains of mind and personality such as
intellectual development, emotional development, social development, moral development and
aesthetic development.
