Welcome to the 10th General Engineering Quiz Show with the

Radiating Stories,/ Synthesizing Bonds/ and Harnessing Intelligence
for 17 years of Innovation and Beyond.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to welcome you

all to our school and department. Also we would like to acknowledge
and express our enormous gratitude to the contestants and their
coaches who devoted time and effort to be here.

J:

Of course, and for the mighty juniors, thank you for your captivating
performance, by the way that was really an awesome presentation
from the juniors.

E:

of course, actually, numerous of them are first timers on the dance

floor. Without a shadow of doubt, they managed to perform and
impress as well.

J:

At this very moment, to deliver her welcome remarks, may we call on

stage, the dean of College of Engineering, Architecture and Fine Arts,
our very own, Dr. Elisa Dimaano Gutierrez.

let us all be inspired by the department chair of the Chemical and Food

J:

Yes I am (adlib lang ng pagsagot), and I feel that our atmosphere is

getting serious yet I am certain that everybody is excited.

Guys, are you excited?.... again! ARE YOU EXCITED?

J:

It is now time to welcome our dear participating teams. As we call the

name of your team, kindly stand-up together with your coaches.

It seems that they are all prepared and armed with countless ideas and
techniques.

J:

To make the battle of minds more organized, may we request all

participants to please listen to this significant announcement.

E:

Since we have 23 participating teams for GE Quiz Show, we will be

having an elimination round, 8 teams will be eliminated and only the
15 groups of bright minds will advance to the next round.

J:

To all participants of the GE Quiz Show there are designated rooms on

the left wing of CEAFA building for the elimination round. Also, we
provided usherettes to assist and guide every Contenders.

E:

Moreover, Chemposium will be conducted here at Amphitheater to be

headed by the 4th year Chemical Engineering students.

J:

Lastly, 5th year Chemical Engineering students will take over the 1 st
ever Inter-Collegiate on the Spot Invention Contest. The contest venue
will be at Audio Visual Room, located at the first floor of the CEAFA
building.

E:

And with that, may we request the participants to please proceed to

their respective assigned venues. Good luck and always bear in mind,
that you are all winners of your respective schools.

We are about to start the Quiz Proper of the 10th GE Quiz Show. But before
that, let us first relieve the tension stirring in the air by a dance number from
selected ChE Students.

J:

Ladies and gentlemen, let us put our hands together for the selected 3rd year
and 4th year Chemical and Food Engineering students!
(Intermission number: 3RD AND 4TH YEAR STUDENTS)

J:

Thank you for that astounding dance number! And now, I believe our
participants are ready to battle their brains out for the next round.

E:

Yes Jayne, I think you might be right! And because of that, we are going to
announce the qualifiers for the last stage of the GE Quiz Show. As we call
your Team Name, please proceed on the stage. You will be assisted our
usherettes.

We would like to congratulate those who made it to the final stage of the
competition.
J:

A quiz show wont be able to determine its champion without its very own set
of experts. For the introduction of judges, may we call on the PiChE-JCB

intellectual and bright minds.

true that Chemical and Food Department is home for talented students.
Weve got a lot of dancers but we do have beautiful voices. Let us all be

And that ends all the stages of the Quiz show. That was one tough battle of
the brains, Now that the fight is almost over, I cant wait to know who will win and
who deserves to be as the team of victors.

Partner, I think in the end, everyone deserves to win the fact that they have
all shown what they can as a team. But in the end, of course the best of the
bests would only be hailed winner of this competition.

E:

But after that mind-crackling round, it is time for the contestants to relax, and
as they do, they will be entertained again for the last time by three different
intermission numbers:
