Blue whale is the largest animals in the world, I think it is the most amazing animal in the

ocean, like a king. But their numbers is getting fewer and fewer. Today it is one of the most
endangered animals in the world. Why do they number continued decreasing? How can we help
them? Now let us learn more about the blue whale.
The scientific name of Blue whale is Balaenoptera musculus. At up to 30 meters in length
and with a maximum recorded weight of 173 tons and probably reaching over 181 tons. Such a
huge guy, isnt it? Its body is a clipper-built, it makes whales can swim faster. The most
interesting part of the Blue whale is his blowhole. Blowhole is a hole at the top of his head. Like
humans nostril, blowhole use by a whale for breathing. As blue whales reach the water surface
to breath, they will breathe out all the carbon dioxide. Because of their large lungs, the carbon
dioxide will burst the seawater in the sky. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNxm0rnVOFs)
Blue whale gets evolution from a kinds of mouse. When I heard it first I was shocked by
this fact. This kind of mouse change to a lot of types of whales.that includes the humpback whale,
the fin whale, Bryde's whale, the sei whale, and the minke whale.Let us see what happen between over 48
millions years .http://ocean.si.edu/ocean-videos/evolution-whales-animation

Looking this picture, this is the evolution of whale...

Like any mammals in the world, a female whale carries her offspring in her womb. The
Gestation periods of a female Blue whale will take her 10 to 12 months..The child whale weighs
about 2.5 tonnes and is around 7 metres (23 ft) in length. the child blue whale drinks 380570 litres
about 100150 U.S. gallons of milk a day.

The blue area in this map is Blue whales range, they spread in nearly all the oceans on the
Earth. They live in both polar and tropical water, migrating between the two at different times of
year
May be some people think there are no predator to this big guy, but that is wrong. A group
killer whale sometime will attack Blue whale.

Blue whales are very important to the environment. A Blue whale can eat as much as 40
million krill per day, so, if Blue whale become extinct, the number of krill will burst out, it will
make this ocean area lacks of oxygen and then causes many aquatic animals dead.

Blue whale could be found in ocean all over the world until the beginning of the twentieth
century. Because of whalers hunted, they were almost extinction. Now, there are probably
between 10,000 and 25,000 blue whales worldwide today.
To save this endangered animals, we can donate to conservation societies like Greenpeace,
the WDCS, and we shouldnt throw plastic bags to the sea, this nondegradable pollutants, make
many whales dead every year. We can also go to be a volunteer to propagandize the important of
Blue whale.
