College has been approved from All India council of Technical Education,
New Delhi for imparting undergraduate education leading to B.Tech.
(Dairy Tech.) & B.Tech. (Food Tech.).
Board of Technical Education, Govt. of Rajasthan has also approved this
college for undergraduate education in the field of Dairy Technology &
Food Technology. Now admissions in first year are made on the basis of
merit of Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPETEAP).
Institute of Engineers has also approved B.Tech. (D.T.) degree of College
for becoming members of the institute for acquiring education on other
branches of engineering.
College has awarded grant for creating infrastructure facilities in the field
of Food technology during XI Plan from Ministry of Food Processing
Industries, New Delhi.
Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India has also sponsored
a Food Processing & Training centre to college for catering need of
training on Post harvest technology, Agro processing & Value addition in
Food Products.
College has started a milk parlour in collaboration with Udaipur Milk Union
(SARAS) for developing entrepreneurship development among graduating
students.
Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India & Livelihood
Mission, Govt. of Rajasthan has sponsored training for developing
entrepreneurship among unemployment rural youth.
College has established Instrument Lab for Measurement sponsored from
All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.
College has established a Museum of devices & gadgets of Dairy
Technology in the College for students, farmers and entrepreneurs. It
includes present and past devices & systems of dairy instructional plant.
College has developed a technology for value addition in Aonla, Custer
Apple and Stevia and successfully demonstrated in field through financial
assistance received from Petroleum Conservation Research Association,
New Delhi.
TIFAC, Govt. of India has also approved basic and advanced processing
unit of Aonla Fruits developed by College for propagation among Aonla
growers.
College has designed and developed various gadgets such as Hand
operated Ice Cream Machine, Aonla Shredder unit, Aonla Pricker & Solar
Tunnel Dryer for fruits & vegetables etc.
College has established Water Harvesting Structure including recharging
pond in the new campus of College.
College has established an orchard having 485 plants of Aonla, 217 plants
of Mango and 46 plants of Custard Apple. A unique zero energy drip
irrigation set up has been installed in this orchard.

College is commissioning a Automatic Tomato Processing Plant for

imparting hands on training (experiential learning) for final ear students of
B.Tech. (D.T.) & B.Tech. (F.T.).
Constructional work for housing training facilities in the College is in full
swing.
College has established record of cent percent placement of eligible
students of college in last three years.
College has developed full infrastructure facilities for education in the
Deptt. of Dairy & Food Technology, Deptt. of Dairy & Food Microbiology
and Deptt. of Dairy & Food Engineering etc.
