Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several trees from the
genus Cinnamomum that is used in both sweet and savoury foods. Cinnamon has been
used for millennia as a spice, a medicine, and an extremely valuable trade commodity.
Cinnamon are composed of many compounds. Examples are :

Conclusion
To conclude, cinnamon is a spice that commonly used for sweet or savory food.
The organic compounds in cinnamaldehyde are alkyne, aldehyde, and aromatic.
Cinnamaldehyde is clear yellow liquid substance. It has a sweet taste even it has strong
taste. It is slightly water soluble, and its molecular formula is C 9H8O. Cinnamaldehyde
can act as anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidation. Moreover, it helps protect
cancer, good to cardiovascular system, and use to produce animal repellent.
For cinnamic acid, organic compounds are also same as Cinnamaldehyde which
are alkyne, aromatic, and organic acid. Cinnamic acid is compound that have oily clear
yellow, sweety taste, and smell like honey. Like other substances in cinnamon, cinnamic
acid is slightly water soluble. Its formula is C 9H8O2 . Cinnamic acid can be use to protect
some disease, such as cancer, cardiovascular system, etc. Also, it can be use as a
substance UV protector and insecticide.
