Expulsion Dropout Fuse

V Series single pole, single insulator, single venting expulsion


drop-out (EDO) disconnector fuse unit is designed to be
used on overhead distribution systems in a totally exposed
environment. The V Series Drop-out disconnector fuse
unit can primarily be used for the protection of distribution
transformers and the protection of spur sections of overhead
lines from the main backbone line.

ANSI/NEMA specifications
Rated voltage 24 kV and 36 kV
Rated current: 100 A
Breaking capacity : 6 and 8 kA (24 kV),
2 and 4 kA (36 kV).
Porcelain or polymer insulators up to 170 kV BIL
UV resistant, high strength fibreglass fuse holder
Silver plated copper contacts
Corrosion resistant Stainless steel 316 ferrous
components- durable in harsh environment
Choice of 10 kA and 16 kA Earth stirrup
Accessories such as Emission control device, bird
cap,stand-off insulator mounting bracket, etc.
