Project Proposal Speech: Your Topic: Fundamentals of Canine Rehabilitation Therapy

Your presentation MUST include a Powerpoint/Prezi, etc.
In the space below, plan out your Final Presentation speech. Give an explanation of what you plan to do for
your project. Your mid-term presentation will be no more than 3 minutes and you will be marked off 1 point
past the time limit. This is your opportunity to explain how your project will improve your field of study or
offer something new to the discussion.

1) HOOK: Begin with some kind of attentiongetter.

Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine,
theraplate, proprioception. These are all terms
that I was unfamiliar with before I started my
mentorship.

4) PART 2: Why did you choose this project?

Give your reasons and explain the original,
creative, and useful elements of your project.
I chose this product because when I was doing my
own research, I discovered that there is not a lot
of information readily available on canine
rehabilitation therapy. Also, it is an excellent and
beneficial practice.

2) INTROUDCTION/INTERNSHIP: Introduce
yourself, give details about your internship, your
mentor, where you work, and what you do.
5) CONCLUSION: Summarize your speech,
Include at least one picture with your mentor.
plan out your next step, and explain how this
experience has helped you for the future.
Im Ally Fuchs, and I decided to work at VCRC
because I have been passionate about animals my So, my mentorship at VCRC has been fantastic as
whole life. My mentorship does chiropractic,
a whole. Next I plan to get into A&M, go to vet
TCVM, and rehabilitation. My mentors are
school, and keep learning.
Megan and Donnette, who are both veterinary
technicians. I observe my mentor and help with
small tasks.

3) PART 1: What is your project/product?

Explain your project in detail, including the real
world application.
My project is a booklet about the fundamentals of
canine rehabilitation therapy. Its going to feature
the underwater treadmill and how it works, and

rehabilitation therapy. The application will be

people in the veterinary field, people with dogs
who have come out of surgery or have chronic
pain, and the general public.
