SKILLS & ABILITIES

PROBLEM SOLVING
AFA CyberPatriot: CyberPatriot has improved my problem solving skills by identifying difficult problems,
breaking each problem down, and coordinating with my team in order to find a solution to the task at hand.
Computer Repair: When given a problem with a computer with little information on the problems with it, I often
find myself using problem solving skills to identify problems and correct their issues.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
CompTIA A+ Certification: I have taken this certification test not once, but twice, at an attempt to improve my
skills and knowledge of the computer world. During so, I have learned how I should react to people in need of
help, and to not overreact or interrupt because of how the customer is behaving.
COMPUTER REPAIR
Mouse Squad: Throughout High School, I have participated in the Mouse Squad Program where I have learned
about various computer functions, and how to troubleshoot and repair the problems that computers may face.
Dell Certification: I have earned Dell Certification in most topics of a computer, including Desktops and Laptops.

LEADERSHIP
President and Founder of El Capitans Gaucho Network: Throughout high school, I have been able to establish
successful sports broadcasts, ensure the stability of it, teach students the requirements, run meetings, and
troubleshoot issues in my four years of enrollment at El Capitan High School.
President and Founder of El Capitans Cyber Patriot Club: I have organized meetings with multiple teams at once
to coordinate and tackle issues implemented into images of various Operating Systems, competing against teams
around the world for a shot at the Championships.
Head of Programming of El Capitans Illusion Robotics 5852: I have taught students how to program a robot,
troubleshoot code, and create various functions for the robot to perform during FIRST Robotics competitions. I
have also create a project helping students learn to code for when I am unable to attend the meetings.

EXPERIENCE
COMPUTER TECHNICIAN | MERCED UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT | JUNE 18, 2016 PRESENT
Throughout the summer, I worked for the school district, repairing the computers that are sent in by students
that have problems with them. Doing so, I have learned that each computer has a story. I strive to learn the story
behind each computer and help them get back into shape.
I worked hard throughout the summer, most of the time working seven or eight hour days, just because I had such
a strong passion for technology. To me, I wasnt interested in the money, it was merely a bonus. I enjoyed working
on something that I loved to do.
