Contact and schedule with families upon referral to Help Me Grow. Conduct intake visits
to explain the program, inform parents of their rights, and receive consent. Also to build
rapport with the families using the Routines Based Interview and Ecomap. Participate in
weekly team meetings to present new children after intake and discuss best fit Primary
Service Provider (PSP). Also to collaborate with other professionals on evaluation results,
primary coaching opportunities, and quarterly updates with family input. Conduct evaluations
and/or assessments (Bayley-III, Hawaii Early Learning Profile) with PSP. Share evaluation
results with families. Use information gathered, observation, and evaluation/assessment to
guide IFSP writing. Collaborate with families and PSP to create child outcomes. Manage own
caseload, complete Help Me Grow paperwork, case note, and data entry on Early Track.
Participate in reflective supervision meetings regularly.

Spring/Summer 2016
Worked with children diagnosed with a variety of special needs birth to three in their
natural environments. Provided individualized interventions for children and families.
Observed and took part in conducting Routines Based Interviews and Eco-Maps.
Observed the administration of several assessments including the Battelle, Ages and
Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3), and Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System
for Infants and Children (AEPS). Gained experience in developing IFSP goals as well
in transitioning students from early intervention to preschool. Also gained experience in
collaborating and coaching with families. Collaborated with professionals in a variety
of ways including team meetings. Also collaborated with professionals in a childcare
setting on ways to incorporate interventions in the classroom.

Fall 2015
Worked with children three years of age and younger with a diagnosis of Autism and
their families through a family centered intervention model. Observed the
implementation of the Connections programs as well as the Triple-P program and the
Play Project. Observed families receiving services in the center, in the home, and via
Tele Early Intervention. Gained experience talking with families and writing notes on
sessions. Collaboration with professionals and other students.

Classroom Teacher
Southeast Intermediate School (Third Grade), Ravenna, Ohio 2014-15 School Year
Lead teacher of a self-contained third grade classroom in a rural, low-income district
in Portage County, Ohio. Created an appropriate learning environment for students in
the classroom. Maintained parent and family interactions and communication through
open house, parent-teacher conferences, e-mail correspondence, and phone calls.
Administered AIMS Web fluency test, the Ohio Achievement Assessment, and
PARCC online testing. Utilized online progress monitoring program iReady.
Active participant in Teacher Based Team and Intervention Assistance Team
meetings. Completed year one of the Resident Educator program. Used data from
assessments as well as awareness of students interests, strengths, and weaknesses to
plan developmentally appropriate lessons in all subjects. Differentiated instruction
though leveled grouping and lesson modifications. Provided extra intervention for
students on Reading Improvement Plans.
