Metal Forming Section

1. Hydraulic Shearing Machine

Shearing is a process which cuts stock without the formation of chips or the use of
burning or melting. It involves the use of straight cutting bladesorm of sheet metal or
plates. Hydraulic shearing machines cut and score sheet metal quickly and accurately.
2. Hydraulic Bending Machine
It is used to strain a metal sheet or plate to make an angle or degree along a straight axis.
3. Rolling Machine
This machine will roll different kind of metal sheet into round or conical shape with
different diameters
4. Vertical Band Saw
It is used to cut irregular shape of metal. It produce uniform cutting action as a result of
an evenly distributed tooth load.
Welding Section
1. Bench Grinder
A bench grinder is a type of benchtop grinding machine used to drive abrasive wheels. It
is used to roughly shape metal prior to welding or fitting.
2. Drilling Machine
It is used to make different sized of holes by drilling in a variety of materials including
metals at many different depth
3. Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable
tungsten electrode to produce the weld. This machine is commonly used to weld thin
sections of stainless steel and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, magnesium, and
copper alloys
4. Shielded Metal Arc Welding
Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) is a manual arc welding process that uses a
consumable electrode covered with a flux to lay the weld. It is used primarily to weld
iron and steels (including stainless steel) but aluminum, nickel and copper alloys can also
be welded with this method.

5. Spot Welder

Spot Welding is a process in which contacting metal surfaces are joined by the heat
obtained from resistance to electric current. Spot welding is typically used when welding
particular types of sheet metal, welded wire mesh or wire mesh. Thicker stock is more
difficult to spot weld because the heat flows into the surrounding metal more easily
6. Gas Metal Arc Welding
Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) is a welding process in which an electric arc forms
between a consumable wire electrode and the workpiece metal(s), which heats the
workpiece metal(s), causing them to melt and join. GMAW applied for welding steels
because it allowed for lower welding time compared to other welding processes.
7. Gas Welding
This machine use fuel gases and oxygen to weld and cut metals. A mixture of oxygen and
acetylene (fuel gas), burns as an intense / focussed flame. When the flame comes in
contact with steel, it melts the surface forming a molten pool, allowing welding to take
place

Woodworking
1. Wood Lathe Machine
It is used for shaping woods, by rotating it rapidly along its axis while pressing a fixed
cutting or abrading tool against it. It can be used to create functional furniture
components, beautiful decorative wood projects such as candlesticks and bowls
2. Sander
It is used to smooth down surfaces (woods), sharp edges or to prepare flat surface for
painting or staining by abrasion with sandpaper.
3. Scroll Saw
It is a small electric or pedal-operated saw used to cut intricate curves in wood or other
materials and also to make a hole. It is also capable of creating curves with edges, by
pivoting its table.
4. Wood Vertical Band Saw
It is used to cut irregular shape of wood. It produce uniform cutting action as a result of
an evenly distributed tooth load.
5. Drilling and Milling
Drilling is to make different sized of holes by drilling into the wood at many different
depth. Milling is a machining operation in which a workpart is fed past a rotating
cylindrical rotating tool with multiple cutting edges.
Heat Treatment
1. Furnace

A furnace is a device used for high-temperature heating. It is used to remelt metal in

foundries. It is used to reheat and heat treat metal.
Foundry
1. Sand Blasting
Sand blasting is the process of weathering and transport of solids (sediment, soil, rock
and other particles) in the natural environment or their source and deposits them
elsewhere.
2. Sand Missle
