Teaching reading includes pre-reading, during reading and post reading
activities
Pre- reading aims to establish a purpose, build background, sustain
motivation and provide direction. It includes vocabulary development,
motivation question and motive question.
Read-aloud, shared reading, guided reading and independent reading
are the different means of reading a story.
Post reading activities includes discussion of the story, enrichment
activities, enrichment activities and writing as composing
