Update DR 900 und Beschreibung des Programm-Managements

1. Update des Colorimeters DR 900

- Die Update-Dateien downloaden von www.hach-lange.de, Suche: DR 900, nach:
Dokumente und
Software.
- DR 900 Software Update 1.07 auf Computer speichern und entzippen.
- Zwei Dateien mssen vorhanden sein: DR900.bin und DR900_Factory.spm.
- DR 900 einschalten und ber das USB-Kabel mit dem Computer verbinden. Automatisch
erscheint
auf dem Display des DR 900 das USB-Hauptmen.
- Auswhlen von DR 900 aktualisieren.
- Das DR 900 wird nun vom Computer als USB-Speicher erkannt, d.h. unter Arbeitsplatz
wird ein
neuer Wechseldatentrger erkannt.
- Die Datei DR900.bin am Computer auf den neuen Wechseldatentrger (d.h. auf das
DR 900)
kopieren.
- Nach Abschluss des Kopiervogangs Taste OK am DR 900 bettigen.
- Am DR 900 USB trennen auswhlen, dann OK und Kabel entfernen.
- OK und Gert aus- und wieder anschalten.

2. Programm-Management
Mit der Programm-Management-Funktion knnen Benutzerprogramme (eigene erstellte
Programme) exportiert und importiert werden sowie neue Werksprogramme importiert
werden.
- DR 900 einschalten und ber das USB-Kabel mit dem Computer verbinden. Automatisch
erscheint
Auf dem Display des DR 900 das USB-Hauptmen.
- Auswhlen von Programme verwalten.
- Es erscheint: Benutzerprogramme exportieren
Benutzerprogramme importieren
Werksprogramme importieren
- Mit der Anwahl eines dieser Punkte wird das DR 900 am Computer als USB-Speicher
aktiviert (siehe oben
Update des Colorimeters DR 900)
- Der Programmimport und -export wird durch das Kopieren und Einfgen am Computer
realisiert, wie es bei
blichen Speichermedien der Fall ist.
- Abschluss der Import- und Exportvorgnge mit OK, Entfernen des USB-Kabels und
OK.

DR 900 Firmware and SPM Update Instructions

Instructions for Download:
1. Select the appropriate software packages for download, and download the .ZIP file
to your desktop.
2. Extract the files to a location on your computer (e.g. your Desktop). Two different
files will be saved to this location:
a. DR900.bin
b. DR900_Factory.spm

Update the firmware

1. Set the instrument to on and connect the USB cable to the instrument and to the
computer.
The USB Main Menu prompts.
2. Select Update DR900. The instrument shows as a USB drive on the computer. Open
the folder.
3. Copy the file DR900.bin to the open folder.
4. Push Ok.
5. When the update is done, push Ok.
6. Select Disconnect USB, push Ok and disconnect the USB cable.
7. Push Ok.
8. Restart the instrument.
Manage programs
With the Manage Programs function, user programs can be exported and/or imported and
new factory programs can be imported.
1. Set the instrument to on and connect the USB cable to the instrument and to the
computer.
The USB Main Menu prompts.
2. Select Manage Programs and select an option:
Option Description
Export User
Programs
Export all user programs to the computer for storage or move the user programs to
another DR 900.
Import User Programs
Replace all user programs with the user programs from another DR 900 via computer.
Import Factory Programs
Import new factory programs from the manufacturer website. The instrument shows as
a USB drive on the computer. Open the folder.
3. Copy the export file from drive to the computer or copy the import file from the
computer to the drive.

4. Push Ok.
5. When the transfer is done, select Disconnect USB and disconnect the USB cable.
6. Push Ok.
