SEPEP SOFTBALL
Instructions
1. Get changed and meet on the Federation Oval.
2. Duty Team will organize the Softball Equipment while
the other teams are sitting in a line behind a marker.
3. The Team Captain will be the leader of your team
making sure your team members stay on task
throughout the competition and notifying your class
which field you will be playing on.
4. The Sports Board person will mark the role every lesson
ensuring students are in the correct uniform and ready
to begin competition.
5. Duty Team will announce the fixtures and any other
important notices including the start and finish time of
each game.
6. Duty Team will umpire, score and announce the results.
7. Duty Team will record the results of each fixture as well
as points for a win, draw, loss.
8. Games will be timed (15 20 min)
9. Side-away when 3 out.
10.Scoring must include the same number of Innings for
each team.
11.Fly Ball rule will be included.
12.Teachers will act as catcher if deemed necessary.
Safety Rules:
1. All active batsmen must wear a helmet
2. After hitting the ball the batsman is responsible for
dropping the bat in a controlled manner.
3. All non-active (waiting batsmen) must wait behind
the safety line.
