accordance with the sixteenth edition of the IEE Regulations BS 7671. If these do not
apply, reference should be made to ERA Report 69-30, Part 3. The ratings are for a
single circuit only. Rating factors and other details are given in chapters 8 and 10.

Cable design is as shown above table A5.1 for PVC cables but with X L P E insulation.
' L o w smoke and fire cable' to BS 6724:1990 has special material for the bedding and
oversheath. F o r sizes above 16 m m 2 see appendix A14.
The ratings are for a single circuit only. Rating factors and other details are given in
chapters 8 and 9.
