Independent Fundamental Baptist Missionaries in the Philippines

Praise Reports and Prayer Requests:

Praise God for allowing us to plant the Gospel seed in

conversation with people. I got a chance to witness to a
good family man, Mr. Ocampo. He was a guest at my
parents house where we celebrated Marcias birthday.
Although Mr. O did not get saved, he did say that he
would be interested in visiting us when we get a work
started. The same can be said about our new friend & taxi
cab driver, Marlon. As we were looking for a house, we
used Marlons help for a number of runs in and around
the Metro Manila areas of Pasig and Taguig. He also expressed that he and his family will be visiting us when we
get started. Three others expressed the same desire, although they are already saved and know for sure that Jesus is their Saviour. Two of them work in a laundromat
(Lensi and Jen) and one happens to be another taxi cab
driver, Doddie. Please pray that we find a good and suitable building to hold services. We are confident that God
will make a way!

Praise the Lord for providing a house.

Praise God our cargo of boxes came in. Pray that the customs, tariffs, and delivery charges are kept to a minimum.

We are praising God that according to the Philippine law, I

need not apply for dual-citizenship. I only need to be
recognized as such. I am scheduled for a hearing on Wed.,
Oct. 26 at 9 AM. Please pray that I will be recognized as a
dual-citizen soon.

I am thankful to God for the fact that the Land and Transportation department of the Philippines will simply convert my foreign drivers license to a Filipino drivers license. I sure look forward to jumping in to the adventurous driving experiences of Manila.

Praise the Lord for a visit from Dr. Roger Bottrell, and his
son, Pastor Daniel Bottrell. The photo above is Dr. Bottrell
giving my boys a big hug! He is such a family man & understands the importance of the home and ministry life.
We are so blessed to have good friends in the ministry.

Another praise is being able to fellowship & visit with

Cross and Crown Baptist Church in Las Pinas city. The boys
got to wear their barongs to church for the first time.
