Sneak Peek on this Week

Literacy Inquiry:
The students will be learning all about letter Nn. They will
be recognizing, tracing and writing letter Nn through multiple
activities.
We will review the sight words we, at, is and The .
We will be reading lots of great books and working on
different writing activities.
Math Inquiry:
We will continue practicing the recognition of different 2D
shapes (square, circle, triangle, and rectangle) with a focus on
Circles as the shape of the week.
We will continue creating and extending AB patterns.

Unit of Inquiry:
Learner Profile: Caring, Balanced
UOI 2: Who we are

Who we are

Central Idea: Relationships reflect who we are and enrich our lives.
We will be introducing the word Relationship to the kids .
We will be discussing how we can be Caring.
We will continue Kelsos nine choices for appropriate behavior.

Home Connection:
Please Keep practicing identifying 2D shapes especially squares, circles and triangles. You can practice writing your childs name with them and send it to
class to share. You can always practice counting from 1-30 with your child. Feel free to capture a picture of your child learning at home and send it to me.
