ERGE
Enfermedad crnica.
Enfermedad progresiva (4-7%) --> por el deterioro de la anatoma y
la funcin + aumento de la gravedad de los sntomas + la
disminucin de la calidad de vida.
Px con ERGE severa --> desarrollar aspiracin perjudicial,
relacionada con edad avanzada.
Grandes hernias de hiato --> agravan la exposicin a reflujo -->
muertes relacionadas con ERGE

HERNIAS HIATALES
Anormalidad anatmica que consiste en la migracin de
contenido intra-abdominal a travs de una abertura ampliada en
la membrana.
Con el tiempo --> forma un saco, mientras que la membrana
frenoesofgica de hiato, el tejido conectivo del mediastino y
abdomen se deterioran.
*Hallazgo muy frecuente en px con ERGE (80-90%)

! ERGE: aquellos nios que presentan sntomas posterior a los 14 meses de
