A
These people have the greatest amount of interest in the initiative and have the power and influence
to either support or block it.
Invest your time and effort on these people in order to engage them fully and satisfy their WIIFM
(Whats in it for me?) needs.
B
These people have the power to support or block the initiative but do not have a great deal of interest
in what you are doing.
Invest enough time on these people to adequately address their expectations or demands; by doing
so, you might be able to sway them to favor supporting the initiative.
Be careful not to be too persistent or you could risk turning them against you.
C
These people are interested in the initiative but do not have much power or influence to support or
block you.
Keep them adequately informed because they might have conversations with some of the more
powerful/influential stakeholders, potentially influencing the attitudes of those individuals or groups.
D
These people have minimal power or influence and little interest in the initiative; there is little
chance that they will support or block you.
