QuickTimeStatementforWindows
This3.11releaseofLoggerProisunusualinthatallvideoplaybackfeatures,includingvideoanalysis,havebeen
disabledontheWindowsversiononly.Weexpectthatvideoplaybacktoreturninalaterrelease.

LoggerProforWindows3.10.1andearlieruseApple'sQuickTimevideotooltocapture,displayandanalyze
videos.

AppleabruptlyceasedtosupportQuickTimeforWindowsinApril2016.On14April2016,severalWindowsonly
QuickTimesecurityvulnerabilitiesweremadepublic.UnitedStatesHomelandSecuritynowrecommendsthat
QuickTimeforWindowsberemovedfromWindowscomputers,asApplewillnotbeupdatingQuickTime.

WithoutQuickTime,videoplaybackfeaturesofLoggerProceasetowork.Otherfunctionssuchasdatacollection
fromsensorsandanalysiswillcontinuetowork.Installingadifferentvideotool,suchasVLCorWindowsMedia
Player,willnotfixtheissueasLoggerPro
mustbemodifiedtomakeuseofthealternatetool.

WerecommendthatQuickTimeberemovedfromWindowscomputers.

Version3.10.1andearlierLoggerProinstallersinstallQuickTimeaspartoftheLoggerProinstallation.Version
3.11oftheinstallerdoesnotinstallQuickTime.ItwillnotremoveexistingQuickTimeinstallations.

Inaddition,LoggerPro3.11willnotmakeanyQuickTimecalls,soeveninstallingQuickTimeseparatelywillnot
restorevideofunctionality.

InLoggerPro3.11,imagecaptureandgelanalysiswillstillfunction,aswillstillimageinsertandimageanalysis.
