Steps to for simulation of CoAP simulation

1.

Run cooja simulator.

2. Go to file new simulation give the name for your simulation

3. Go to motes select Sky mote browse

open Ipv6 folder

4. Select RPL-Border Router

Open Border-Router.c

5. Clean & Compile this file select Create give number of

motes as 1

add motes

6. Go to motes select Sky mote browse er-example-server.c

file

7. Right click on Border router node then mote tools

serial socket (server)

8. Click on start simulation in simulation window

9. Open new terminal and goto Rpl-Border-router folder and run this command to form a
bridge make connect-router-cooja

10. you can see the output of the simulation in mote output.

11. Now Open Mozilla firefox Browser type the url coap://[aaaa::
212:7402:2:202].

12. Click on core GET

will get a list of resources present on that particular server

13. Click on toggle and post a 1

14. go back to simulation window to see the LED turned ON on node 2

15. Click on the Click Button

16.when you click on the Click button The No of Events will be

Displayed

17.When you click on that Button Once again the Event no will be
incremented.
