Apps that use Location Services can use a combination of GPS satellites and

wireless networks to estimate your location. If you dont need your apps to be
location aware, you can shut the Location Services off for your Android. Go
into Settings, More, and then Location Services. When you get there,
uncheck the box that reads Access to my location.
