The purpose of this lesson is to acknowledge that students know how


to read and how to respond to different characters.
In addition, the students should know the different parts of the story
and being able to identify them. They are able be brilliant readers and
must learn their numbers.

Describe the overall structure of a story, including describing


how the beginning introduces the story and the ending concludes
the action.

Objectives

-Students will be able to generalize the different parts in a graphic organizer.


-Students are going to be able to design the plot, conflict, setting, climax,
falling action, and then the resolution of a story.
-Students are able to demonstrate their knowledge and use their thinking
memory.

Technology Uses

We will be using an internet, also being able to watch a media film, have
students engage using a blog and to share their different stories.

Materials

Procedure

1. First we will have students work in groups.


2. Then they will share their ideas within their group members.
3. They will create an account using myblogpage.com and being able to
communicate with other students in the class dealing with the parts of
a story.
4. Students then will listen to the book ,Miss Nelson is Missing by
Harry Allard digitally.

5. Students will be able to pinpoint the major conflicts in the book.


6. Lastly, use their knowledge and fill in the graphic organizer.

The students are going to be assessed by taking a test and being able
to recognize the different parts of a story.
Then, they are doing to be given a short story to read and be able to
identify the parts and the conflict throughout the passage.
The test will be out of 50% of their grade.
